Lets just say for arguments sake that most of us desire to see our loved ones unharmed. And the reason we go to war is to thwart a source of harm. I submit to my readers that believing these sources of harm to be "evil" will only make their ability to cause harm last ever longer. Are we not all human? Were we not all born into fragility? Could we not all be civil if not friendly? Some believe that certain "types"of people can not be civil and are inherently evil. So are you saying that forever and ever you will be fearful of this other type of person? I mean, if there's no hope of reaching a compromise for the rest of your life you will live in fear instead of peace? This is what evil means to me. A never ending cycle of "us" having to worry about "them". But what if there were only us. And since we humans see ourselves as super-advanced in comparison to the rest of the animal kingdom shouldn't we be using our ability to reason so that we might understand our differences and create a peaceful path forward?
