I just tweeted my 420th tweet. So the last couple of days have been aight. I had a very relaxing day off with Melissa yesterday. Monday and Tuesday were decent. Both closing shifts. I got to see Shai Agassi on the Colbert report yesterday and was quite pleased. Here's a link to a video showing how instead of filling up at a gas station someone could have their electric car's battery changed and be ready to get back on the road in a minute. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5b0T5NUHyxs&feature=player_embedded#t=32I'm noticing how much of my writing is kinda random and often disconnected. But I guess that's just the magic of Web Log. Jeff hooked up some snow leopard the other day and I am stoked! Not a lot differece but just having the latest OS is something I appreciate. Soon I should have logic 9 as well. Hey Lauren! Did you notice the date? It's about time everyone checks out OLPC or One Laptop Per Child. What these guys are doing gives me more hope for the future of humanity than anything else. The wikipedia page explains well what their mission is and how they've progressed. They have a model called the XO-2 which should be a dual multi-touch display (one is for a keyboard) that should cost only $75 by 2011. I recently read that Ghana has purchased enough for every child in the country ages six to twelve. That's what I call remarkable.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olpc
