9/8/9

Today is my friday even though it's actually Tuesday. And in Yemen it's almost Wednesday which is my Saturday. "Enjoy my future day off Yemeni vice president Khaled Al-Asad"! I chose Yemen because I know practically nothing about it. It turns out their motto is "God, Nation, Revolution, Unity. They got this evergreen shrub that can grow to six meters and is chewed to produce a caffeine-like effect. Yemen's film industry is just beginning. In 2008 the interior minister supported the production of a film educating the public about Islamic extremism. Keep an eye out, it'll be called "the losing bet". Wikipedia is a great thing. People seem to be less and less anti wikipedia. Thats great. I hear a lot of teachers don't allow it as a reference. Makes sense. I'm sure it'll still be useful to those looking for some info whether or not they can site it. So is anyone using bing? Thought not. Not that I think it's bad. Just no great reason to switch from google. Yet...

  1. i checked out bing the other day. it's got too much color and other stuff going on for me, in a way that it makes the page seem busier, but there are fewer results per page. google is much more concise, even if it isn't much to look at.
