I'm gonna miss writing 9 for the year. Come 2010 I'm gonna have to write a whole two numbers to abbreviate. Charlie came over yesterday so I could put music on his blackberry storm. He brought his current "lady of the evening"to smoke on my stash. She was, uh... nice. He also brought a cat which was playful and adorable. Yesterday I SA'd from ten thirty to three thirty. Grace was in doing an investigation about employee surveys and whether or not they were falsified by Karim. It was a lot of standing around and hosting. I'm pretty sure Grace isn't interested in promoting anyone who associates with the Yorba Linda Olive Garden. Hmmm, "YLOG and Y nobody shows no love". Yep, that'll be the heading on the confession letter I'll be forced by Bill Darden to write when the metaphorical shit hits the symbolic fan. If any of that made sense, we have applications at the front.
at some point during my stay at the ylog, i began falsifying my personal information on those surveys. if i was one of three or four people whose survey said, "employed for 5-10 years" and then also showed my gender and (if i so chose) my ethnicity, when the managers got the results they would immediately be able to see that i was not a happy camper with certain things. this, of course, did not occur to me until karim said to me, "don't talk shit in those surveys, because even if you don't put your name at the top, i know who you are." after that, i pretended to be a newer employee and maybe not even a girl. it was easier to be honest after i had lied. hm. that last part is interesting.
